The park itself is an impressive 30-acres in size which present an amazing view of Richmond. Their newly renovated children's playground one block away has plenty of fun for young children. If your four-legged friend is joining you, the Church Hill Dog Park is on the eastern end of the park and features two sectioned off areas for dogs of all sizes. History buffs will enjoy a stop at the National Battlefield Park headquarters while photo-fiends should definitely snap a shot of the miniature Statue of Liberty.
